The library is beautifully situated along "Little river", a small tributary to Moss river, in Møllebyen which is located in the centre of Moss. The building was built in 1914 and was once used as a mill and packaging factory but went through extensive renovations in the late 1990s and is today used by Moss Library, Moss Cinema and Moss Town- and Industrial museum. The library moved here in 2002 and fills three floors of the building.
The first floor houses our service desk, our collections of fiction and non-fiction, our film collection, our magazines and newspapers and several computers which are available to the public. The ground floor has foreign language books for adults, our collection of books, photos etc. from Moss and surrounding areas and also our study rooms. The second floor is the childrens department which has books, films, games and much more for children of all ages.
